"This album is monster on many levels, getting the opportunity to do the art for this, was an incredible honor & all the creative freedom was overwhelming. In the midst of making the art, I was confronted with my depression & anxiety, which influenced the art profoundly & made it hard for me to face the art after I completed the pieces. This turned fully when the art was incorporated into the final packaging, making way for feelings of pride & joy. I remember clearly when the album came out: Valentine's Day 2020, the day I got the news that I could finally start my recovery after 2 retinal detachments in my right eye amidst the pandemic." - MVH
