“Continent” acrylic on panel, 24" x 24”

Back in 2008, I created a narrative to go along with the Acacia Strain’s album “Continent”. This was the cover, modeled after Caspar David Friedrick’s “Wanderer above the Sea and of Fog”. I reference him and this painting often. Our protagonist, that I named Kid Apocalypse, surveys this big party as all his guests lay waste to our world. As long as human’s have been around, I believe we’ve had the end of the world on our minds and the visibility that we now have thanks to technology, it would seem like the end is just around the corner.

Available as a museum-quality Giclee Print in four sizes.
