Marald Van Haasteren "Mercilessly" Giclee Print

Marald Van Haasteren is a fine artist based in Leiden, Netherlands, recognized for his bold yet intricately crafted approach. His work often delves into themes of elegance and beauty in nature. Marald has created artwork for a diverse range of aggressive bands, including Baroness, Ghost, Bolt Thrower, High on Fire, Deafheaven, Kylesa, Wolfbrigade, and more.

Marald's "Mercifully" and "Mercilessly" illustrations were inspired by the two songs which bookend the "Rust on the Gates of Heaven" album by Wear Your Wounds. Each panel represents the struggle and entanglement between the light and dark in life. They are tied together symbolically by a circular shape consisting of half a crown of thorns (sacrifice) & half a nest (nurture).

Available as a museum quality Giclee Print in three sizes.
