"This piece was done for wine and metal culture magazine Blood of Gods. They’ve had a ton of amazing artwork across their lifespan, which can make it tricky to think of a fresh way to bring wine and grapes into the image. In this piece, my fourth for BoG, I wanted to tastefully represent a baphomet-like nature figure entailing the physical (and by extension spiritual) qualities of masculine and feminine. In bearing these the individual contains all the power of creation and newness, be it through the iterative refinement of the soul or through the cultivation of grapes". - Saprophial
